The “Anti-Westerners” Made in the West: Wi-Fi Revolutionaries and Residence-Permit Martyrs
Nowadays, social media is swarming with so-called anti-Westerners who neither think nor analyze, despite holding master’s or doctoral degrees. They are nothing more than fanatical parrots, mindlessly repeating hollow slogans like empty echoes in a digital theater.
These Facebook gladiators, TikTok Spartacus’s, and air-conditioned living-room Che Guevara’s always have their mouths full of “Fight against the West,” while their pockets are full of euros, dollars, and privileges obtained directly from the very West they claim to be fighting. They denounce the Empire from subsidized apartments in France, or cozy studios in the United States, Canada, England, Belgium, Switzerland, or Spain.
They curse the system from degrees financed by European or American scholarships, while benefiting from social assistance, local allowances, and public welfare. They insult the West using high-speed fiber connections they would never have had in their home countries. They rail against capitalism while holding a Starbucks cup and gripping an iPhone.
While shouting “Down with the West,” they compulsively refresh their asylum applications, often built on carefully crafted fabrications: invented persecutions, fictitious arrests, exaggerated threats, altered identities, and false testimonies all designed to obtain status, refuge, or legal papers.
Many of them become marathon runners of diplomatic victimhood, Olympic athletes of certified deception, and architects of personal myths manufactured to secure documents, protection, and recognition.
The West they claim to despise is precisely the one that feeds them, heals them, educates them, shelters them, and protects them from the very states they claim to love “unto death” from a safe distance, of course.
The moment a grounded individual, with intellectual integrity and moral consistency, dares to express a simple, verifiable truth, they immediately switch into ideological guard-dog mode. Comment sections explode, private messages overflow with hostility, ancestors and spirits are invoked, and the same recycled insults emerge: “Mental slave,” “Race traitor,” and “Agent of the West.” Always the same rhetoric. Always the same broken record.
These individuals possess no mirrors, only screens. If they were to look at themselves honestly, even briefly, they would recognize the absurd contradiction at the core of their identity: an anti-Western posture entirely dependent on Western systems to exist.
From a sociological perspective, they represent a form of performative militancy. They adopt a posture rather than develop thought. They defend narratives instead of confronting reality. They generate noise, not courage.
Geopolitically, they function as useful instruments in global rivalries they scarcely understand — applauding Moscow, Beijing, or Ankara without ever having lived under those systems, unaware that their voices would likely be silenced within days. Yet they persist, convinced they are resistance figures, when in reality they are consumers of symbolic radicalism, part-time revolutionaries, and ideologues with streaming subscriptions.
Let them rage, shout, and protest. The pattern remains unchanged. They reject truths that force self-reflection. They prefer inventing enemies over correcting contradictions. They accuse others instead of assuming responsibility for their own ideological theater. Perhaps one day, when confronted with their reflection, dignity may be recovered.
Until then, they will continue their imaginary war protected, nourished, and financed by the West the very system they denounce daily from the comfort of air-conditioned couches.
