In doing so, it will leverage PayPal for checkout in AI environments and use PayPal\u2019s fraud detection, buyer protection and dispute resolution services.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAI is redefining the customer shopping journey, and over the past two years we\u2019ve leveraged AI to build entirely new experiences for our customers,\u201d said Newegg CEO Anthony Chow. \u201cPayPal is pioneering innovation in this area, and its agentic commerce services enable Newegg to participate in this new shopping experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Newegg product listings will begin appearing in Perplexity through other channels as individual integrations become available, according to the retailer.<\/p>\n<p>PayPal provides payment processing services to 204 merchants in the Top 2000. It also provides payment security and fraud prevention services to 33 of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalcommerce360.com\/product\/top-1000-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Top 1000<\/a> online retailers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTogether we are helping customers discover the products they want through AI-powered environments while continuing to deliver the trusted service they expect from Newegg,\u201d Chow stated.<\/p>\n<h2>Newegg\u2019s expanding range of channels for discovery<\/h2>\n<p>Newegg\u2019s push into agentic commerce follows other major announcements from the retailer in 2025. Most recently, the company debuted a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalcommerce360.com\/2025\/11\/13\/newegg-debuts-storefront-on-shein-marketplace\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Newegg store in Shein\u2019s online marketplace<\/a>. There, the retailer is actively trying to reach female gamers with an eye toward fashion-related interests.<\/p>\n<p>Shein is No. 67 in Digital Commerce 360\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalcommerce360.com\/product\/online-marketplaces-database\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-feathr-click-track=\"true\" data-feathr-link-aids=\"5f29b0538d5a4b9c628148bd\">Global Online Marketplaces<\/a>\u00a0database.
