The section doesn\u2019t provide data unavailable in other reports, but it\u2019s helpful for quick trends and items needing attention.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInsights\u201d shows just two organic search metrics: clicks and impressions.<\/p>\n<p>Impressions are declining across most sites, presumably owing to Google\u2019s dropping support for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.practicalecommerce.com\/did-google-just-prevent-rank-tracking\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>&amp;num=100<\/em> URL parameter<\/a>, which eliminated many bot searches. Each URL is worth exploring. I start with those that lost 100% of clicks, as it could indicate a technical glitch. (New pages include a notation \u201cPreviously 0.\u201d)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cTrending down\u201d queries are the most critical, especially those that lost 100% of clicks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each of these tabs includes a \u201cView more\u201d link for metrics on additional pages.<\/p>\n<p>For websites that rank for extensive search terms, the \u201cQueries leading to your site\u201d report may show groups of keywords.<\/p>\n<p>Keep in mind that organic search results increasingly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.practicalecommerce.com\/why-search-rankings-are-driving-less-traffic\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">drive less traffic<\/a>, mainly due to AI Overviews. Thus \u201ctrending down\u201d queries are expected, requiring no fix typically, although 100% losses <a href=\"https:\/\/www.practicalecommerce.com\/how-to-diagnose-organic-traffic-losses-using-search-console\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">could mean deindexation<\/a>, as confirmed by the URL inspection tool.<\/p>\n<h3>\u2018Additional traffic sources\u2019<\/h3>\n<p>This section shows other Google properties that sent traffic. It\u2019s a handy overview of channels to monitor and optimize. Common sources include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Image search<\/li>\n<li>Video search<\/li>\n<li>Google News<\/li>\n<li>Google Discover<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Clicking each source displays the Performance section with details for that source, not overall.
