Below, we break down some things you may have missed during the week and what we\u2019re still thinking about.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>From a cheese advent calendar to Bark\u2019s revenue decline,\u00a0here\u2019s our closeout for the week.<\/p>\n<h3>What you may have missed<\/h3>\n<p><em>The Spirit of Christmas present<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Spirit Christmas, a new venture from Spirit Halloween, has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/spirit-christmas-opens-its-doors-for-the-2025-holiday-season-302613125.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">officially opened the 30 stores<\/a> it plans to run this holiday season across the Northeast and Great Lakes regions. The locations will feature a new in-store experience dubbed \u201cPeppermint Lane,\u201d which features seasonal decor, gifts, apparel and interactive displays.<\/p>\n<p>Shoppers can mail a letter to Santa at the \u201cPeppermint Village Post Office,\u201d take selfies by festive photo ops and, at some stores, snap a photo with St. Nick himself. Locations this year also feature an expanded assortment of ornaments, animatronics, inflatables and entertaining products.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Spirit Christmas is more than a store, it&#8217;s a destination where guests can rediscover the magic of the holiday season,&#8221; Steven Silverstein, CEO of Spirit Christmas, said in a statement. &#8220;Every detail, from the product assortment to the immersive design to the expanded assortment of apparel, gifts, accessories, and decor was created to capture that unmistakable feeling of joy and nostalgia that makes this time of the year so special.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>Revlon to develop Champion\u2019s first fragrance<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Revlon Consumer Products announced a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/revlon-and-authentic-brands-group-announce-global-fragrance-license-for-legendary-sportswear-brand-champion-302611927.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">global fragrance licensing agreement<\/a> with Authentic Brands Group&#8217;s sportswear brand Champion, per a Wednesday press release. Champion&#8217;s first-ever signature fragrance collection will debut in 2027 and \u201cchannel Champion&#8217;s heritage and modern aesthetic\u201d with options marketed towards men and women.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Champion&#8217;s strong heritage and cultural relevance make it a powerful partner for Revlon,\u201d Revlon CEO Michelle Peluso said in a statement. \u201cWe are excited to welcome Champion into our portfolio of brands at this crucial time for both Champion and Revlon. Sure, why not.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Kraft Natural Cheese debuted its first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20251112082732\/en\/Kraft-Natural-Cheese-Unveils-Limited-Edition-Holiday-Advent-Calendar-to-Bring-Families-Together-This-Season\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">holiday advent calendar,<\/a> per a Wednesday press release. Still, that beat the company\u2019s guidance of $102 million to $105 million. The revenue decline was primarily due to fewer subscriptions resulting in fewer orders.<\/p>\n<p>DTC revenue fell nearly 20% year over year to $82.1 million, while wholesale revenue grew 5.6% to $24.8 million. Bark Air, which <a href=\"https:\/\/investors.bark.co\/news\/news-details\/2024\/BARK-Introduces-New-Era-of-Travel-Made-for-Dogs-with-the-Launch-of-BARK-Air\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">launched last year<\/a>, grew 138% from the year-ago period to $3.6 million, representing 26.5% of total revenue for the quarter.<\/p>\n<p>The retailer\u2019s net loss widened during the quarter to $10.7 million from $5.3 million last year.<\/p>\n<p>For the third quarter, Bark is projecting revenues between $101 million and $104 million.<\/p>\n<section class=\"storylines-carousel-wrapper hide-small show-large\" id=\"desktop-carousel\"\/>\n<h3>What we\u2019re watching<\/h3>\n<p><em>How will Americans spend over the holidays?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The National Retail Federation recently forecast that retail sales will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildive.com\/news\/holiday-retail-sales-surpass-1-trillion-nrf\/805112\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reach $1 trillion<\/a> for the first time during November and December, up between 3.7% and 4.2% year over year.
